What kind of photographs do you take?
Portraits, pets, commercial, headshots, events etc. Feel free to email me to discuss requirements or other options.
Do you photograph weddings?
At this time I do not take wedding photos. Your wedding is a spectacular day and requires the best in photography services. While I'm certain that I would contribute wonderful images of your big day weddings are just not something I specialize in. There are several area photographers who make it their sole priority to cater to your wedding. If you are looking for a referral please feel free to contact me.
Do you accept freelance jobs?
Of course! Freelance/commissioned gigs are my business. Upfront written contracts are required. These can include personal events, corporate functions, or nonprofit. All nonprofit entities are entitled to a substantially discounted rate (sometimes only paying necessary expenses) with proof of nonprofit status.
I don't live in Putnam County. Do you travel?
Yes. However, any traveling outside of 60 miles (one way) will incur a travel fee. I am available for out of state traveling as well.
What do we wear? What should I expect?
A well styled shoot is highly important. This is why I offer phone consultation upon booking.

What are your terms and conditions?
Terms and conditions are typical. However, if you'd like to review them before booking just send me an email and I'll be happy to send you a copy.
How long does a session take?
Typically family photo sessions last about one hour. However, there is no time limit. This allows me to continue to photograph until I feel there is an adequate selection of beautiful images.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Cash or check is accepted for the session retainer. *There is an automatic $25 fee on all returned checks.
Refunds...
Every effort is made to produce beautiful photographs. If there is any reason you are not completely satisfied please let me know. I take great care and pride in growing my business and want my clients to feel content about the choice they make in choosing me as their photographer. Refunds are not given when an image CD is involved as I have no way of knowing if copies have been made. However, if you are dissatisfied for any reason at all please let me know immediately.

Are the photographs on my image CD available for commercial use?
You must first obtain permission before using any images for business promotion of any kind. A license fee may apply.

What is your copyright policy?
All images are the property of Charlene McCoy Photography and are protected by federal copyright laws. Copying images is punishable by a fine. It is against the law to reproduce these images in any way without my written permission. I (Charlene McCoy) retain the rights to all my images for promotional or competitive use. Copyright violators will be prosecuted.
